The Amsterdam Tulip Museum is located near the Anne Frank House and tells the story of the worlds ’most dangerous flower’, whose beauty drove the world’s aristocracy to madness and bankruptcy. The museum charts the popularity and cultivation of Tulips from the 1500s onwards, and runs a store selling a variety of bulbs and tulip related merchandise. The staff in the store are very knowledgeable, and more than willing to assist novice growers with advice.
