The Akermare Gallery is located in Akersloot, and displays a number of permanent and temporary exhibitions relating to art in several forms – mainly applied art, sculptures, and traditional crafts. Items on display include bronze and marble sculptures, functional art such as tables, fireplaces and instruments, and various paintings and textile based artworks – including art by artists such as Glen Priester. At the time of writing, disabled persons may have difficulty accessing the gallery as there are no special facilities offered.
